If your film is short, the best choice for you is the:
6th International Short Film Festival IN THE PALACE, Balchik, Bulgaria
Competitive festival open to students and professional filmmakers
Deadline for submitting films for selection (VHS, SVHS, DVD, mini DV, DVCAM and *.avi): 15th April 2008
Deadline for submitting screening copies (if your film is selected) on BETA SP, DVCAM, DVCPRO and *.avi: 15th May 2008
Documents for participation: completely filled and signed entry form; synopsis of the film and information about the production in English; a dialogue list in English; two photographs of the director (try avoiding sending us boring passport photos); three stills of the film for web, catalogue and press use; other press and promotional materials if you have and please make a copy to CD or DVD and send it to as too.

The International Short Film Festival IN THE PALACE evolved from a
Student Short Film Festival and gradually became one of the most
prestigious and recognized film festivals on the Balkans. Traditionally
the festival will take place in Balchik (a picturesque small town at the
Bulgarian seaside) in the Architectural park complex The Palace (former
summer residence of the Romanian Queen in the beginning of the 20th
century). This year's edition of the festival will be in the period 23th
and 30th June.
Good luck to all filmmakers and young artists. We hope to see you IN THE
PALACE in June.
